Furniturebox started in 2015 with two 17-year-olds, Monty and Dan, doing absolutely everything themselves. We've grown a lot since then, but that spirit hasn't gone anywhere. We're a friendly, down-to-earth bunch who take real pride in what we do, and who look out for each other along the way.
Our mission is to make beautiful homes possible for everyone, whatever their budget. We think that starts with a team that feels at home too.

Having founded Furniturebox with Monty back in 2015, I suppose you could say I’m very much part of the furniture here (pun absolutely intended).
I’m passionate about growing the business, learning alongside the team, challenging the norms, and delighting our customers- all while making Furniturebox a fun and exciting place to work.
Outside of work, I’m a big Arsenal fan and love playing or watching any sport (preferably with a beer in hand).

Hi, I’m Monty, co-founder and Managing Director at Furniturebox. Furniturebox has been part of my life since I was 18, and it’s a privilege to spend each day growing a business I’ve poured so much into alongside such a fantastic team.
I’m a big believer in going the extra mile for people, whether it’s our customers, colleagues, or partners, because it always has a way of coming back positively.
I’ll admit I find it hard to switch off, but when I do I’m a keen history enthusiast (no car journey is complete without a podcast) and a passionate long-distance triathlete. If I’m not at the office, you’ll probably find me in the pool, on the bike, or running the streets of Bristol.

I joined Furniturebox in 2020 and have seen huge changes across the business in that time – we’re a lot more people now especially! I’m passionate about building a culture where creativity, data, and collaboration come together to drive growth.
I love supporting people to develop their skills and confidence, whilst creating space for innovation and fun. For me, it’s about growing a brand we’re all proud of and making every day a chance to learn and achieve something new.
Product Director
A fairly new addition to the Furniture Box family, I am very excited by where we are at and what lies ahead. My background is in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Sales and Consultancy – I have worked across two continents and lived in Asia for nearly 10 years before returning back to the UK.
I really enjoy working in diverse teams with ambitious goals and intent to make a positive difference – this is very much Furniturebox.
